Principal
Mary Louise “Lou” Hobson
Lou Hobson has dedicated her professional life to understanding and acquiring a mastery of the financial industry. Over her accomplished career Lou served Riggs Bank as Assistant Vice President before taking the post of Manager at Dembo, Jones, Healy, Pennington & Marshall, P.C. in Washington DC where she managed the forensic accounting and business valuation services of the accounting firm for over a decade. With nearly two decades of industry experience, Lou decided to open the doors of Hobson Analytical in 2011 in Washington, DC. In additional managing her own firm, Lou continued working as a consultant for Ross & Moncure, Inc before moving back to her hometown of New Orleans where she quickly established Hobson Analytical as a thorough and dependable resource for her clients.
Lou has over 30 years of forensic accounting, business valuation, financial consulting and litigation support experience. Lou is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Maryland, Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), with an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Rice University and a Master of Science in Accounting from the Kogod School of Business at American University. She studied at Georgetown University to obtain a Certificate in Financial Planning to better assist clients with their personal financial needs. Lou maintains a CPA license in Maryland.

Michael “Owen” Barry Jr.
Owen Barry joined Hobson Analytical at the beginning of 2019 after graduating from Loyola University New Orleans with a Master’s of Business Administration. Owen brings years of experience dealing with real estate financials, research and analysis. He is involved in the exploration of and inquiry into real property transactions, ownership and income generation real estate holdings. As a technology enthusiast he is also in constant pursuit of the latest tools and technology to provide the best possible service to Hobson Analytical clients.
